The neighborhood:
Fayette Street is between Harvard, Central and Inman Squares, with a diverse mix of people. Our neighbors include young professionals, faculty, students, young families with children ages 0-10, and established families many of whom raised their children here. Our street enjoys an annual block party and we frequently get invitations to attend neighbors' holiday parties or outside barbecues. After living here for a few years, many of our closest friends are within a two block walk, but there are still enough people that we are always meeting interesting new neighbors.

A "walking" neighborhood:
Most services are within a five minute walk and the T is close, so owning a car is optional here.
